Job Title: Photovoltaic Test Engineer

Location: Lake Forest, CA

The opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join this global organization which respects diverse perspectives, experiences and traditions as essential and values each employee’s contribution toward achieving our business objectives.

This position will involve:-

• Developing and setting up test plans
• Perform Safety Evaluations on project in - house.
• Conducting electrical safety testing on various products to determine compliance with applicable standards
• Analyzing and interpreting test data relevant to UL, CSA, and IEC PV standards.
• Designing and creating test fixtures for testing of PV modules
• Preparing technical reports
• Communicating project status and test results to clients, sales personnel, and management throughout testing. Providing on-going support to clients as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or the equivalent in terms of education, experience, and training
• Demonstrated experience with product safety standards (ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, and IEC)
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments independently within established parameters.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to travel
