Position:

 

CIGS Module Reliability Engineer/Technologist to manage assembly of novel CIGS cells into innovative module configurations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop novel CIGS interconnection and module assembly processes. Work closely with technology & materials suppliers and module assembly partners on product validation and commercialization.

 

2. Organize and perform testing and characterization of CIGS modules in preparation for standardized reliability testing and certification.

3. Devise and document standard testing procedures. Assist with data analysis and interpretation. SPC and DOE experience a plus.

4. Design and build (or have built) specialized equipment and fixtures as needed.

5. Manage vendors and suppliers and work collaboratively with them on product development and qualification of new materials and processes.

6. Train and manage operators & technicians.

Requirements:

1. Technical degree or equivalent experience. 

2. Experience and demonstrated capability in CIGS module design, assembly, testing and characterization. This should include cell inter-connection, lamination, framing and wiring.

3. Strong working knowledge of PV module reliability and certification including materials, processes and equipment.

4. 3+ years relevant practical experience

5. Self motivated, results oriented team player.
