Regional Business Development Managers
Electronic Materials is an early stage business with major growth potential for both Sun Chemical and the DIC group. Working closely with the technology organization, the RBDM, Electronic Materials is responsible for identifying and developing strategic accounts in critical growth markets in keeping with the Product strategies for electronic materials
Reporting to the Global Product Manager and based in the USA, the Regional Business Development Manager will:
· Grow regional sales by identifying, managing key target accounts
· Identify and prioritize regional sales opportunities in line with global product and business strategies.
· Develop and convey value propositions through an understanding of specific customer needs
· Coordinate regional marketing communications activities
· Identify and manage regional pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams through the GPM DFSS stage gate development process. Ensure that key metrics and success factors are identified and drive go, no-go decisions
· Work closely with other regional business development managers to coordinate and support global accounts
· Gather and report on competitive companies, products and technologies
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following key skills and competencies:
· Minimum of 8 years of proven regional commercial product management
· Financial acumen essential and the ability to conduct market segment analysis and execute regional strategies
· Experience working with customers on high risk, early stage development products and programs
· Solid technical understanding of electronic materials products and technologies, Ideally in materials for solar power applications and display technologies
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluent English and 2nd language preferred
· Motivated self-starter
· Minimum of BS degree in business or technology
