Position Summary

The position incumbent is responsible for implementing the strategic plan to increase revenue in non-semiconductor markets in Europe. The Account Manager will ensure that the activities provided promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with both external and internal customers. The candidate will lead sales activities in the territory and support the marketing, tradeshows, and business development activities.

Objectives and Responsibilities
 
Principal Objective
  • Achieve targeted sales revenue in the territory @ targeted non-semiconductor markets & customers.*(*: any market outside semiconductor, data storage, TFT/FPD, existing CE markets)
  • Focus is on Photovoltaics accounts
Main Responsibilities
  • Develop customer intimacy & industry networking with other stakeholders
  • Identify new market & opportunities; report new product needs that show economic & business values
  • Implement sales plan in collaboration with NMD Sales Manager, Europe Reseller Manager & Field support functions
  • Monitor NMD sales in the territory in order to measure progress & performances
  • Set-up yearly & quarterly sales targets for the territory

Additional Responsibilities
  • CSSO & Sales Funnels: identify Critical Single Sales Objectives, monitor progress through monthly sales funnel reporting
  • CRM (Customer Relation Management): document NMD activities in internal databases
  • Bi yearly forecast: develop forecast per SBU (Strategic Business Unit) and Profit Center
  • Strategic plan: develop and post Sales Plan, incl. source of growth, resource needs, objectives & milestones
  • Member of Global NMD Team: share success stories, new biz opportunities, biz plans, training sessions and improvement opportunities

Educational and professional experience/Knowledge, skills and experience (KSE)

Education

  • Business or Engineer Degree (5 years after High school diploma)

Professional Experience
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in Industry, business experience in Photovoltaic related industries is preferred.
  • A strong technical sales experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in another “high purity” industry (Bio Medical, Life Science, Inkjet…) will be valuable

  • Good Material Science knowledge

  • Strong business skills, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Flexible mindset
  • Good computing skills (standard software PC : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes)

  • Willingness to travel (50 – 70% time of working hours)
