Description  
  Responsibilities

• Develops project plan and oversees the projects from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes and resources.
• Responsible for managing project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software
• Manages allocated resources from other organizations to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project
• Leads multifunctional teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects.
• Provides technical leadership to team members to achieve project goals.
• Interfaces and coordinates with customers to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
• Provides engineering and business process expertise to project team and other members on various projects / issues.
• Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.
• Manages employees (direct reports or matrixed reports); contributes to effective performance management, employee development and retention
• Other duties as assigned.

  Job Specific Knowledge

• Requires knowledge of the production environment and the semiconductor equipment industry.
• As deemed necessary by management, may also require an understanding of other functions or processes to include configuration management, milestone management, source inspection procedures, shipping procedure, SRD process, MTR process, engineering specification waiver process, discrepant material report process, engineering change order process, return to stock process, design for excellence (DFx) engineering principles, product development process (PDP), JIT manufacturing concepts, total quality management (TQM) concepts and/or statistical process control (SPC).

Qualifications   Skills

• Requires strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, global business perspective, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills and quality.
• Demonstrated ability in Human Resources management and leadership, to include coaching and counseling of direct subordinates.
• Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Oracle BOM, FRACAS, and/or PST.

  Education INCUMBENTS TYPICALLY WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• BS level degree or equivalent in a related field
• 9+ years of directly related experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated supervisory / management experience
