Under direct supervision, disassembles, cleans, and re-assembles non Ebara products (TMP's, Cryo's, Wet, Dry, and Scroll pumps) from manufacturers such as Alcatel, Leybold, Busch, Edwards, and Seiko Seki.
Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used for the service of pumps.
Documents all observationsduring disassembly and generates failure analysis reports.
Assist in all functions required in the operations of quick response center. Checks power and hand tools for proper operation.
EDUCATION:
High School or AA degree in Engineering, Electronics, or equivelent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
4+ years electro-mechanical and troubleshooting experience in the rebuild of various non Ebara pumps.
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical skills and of principles of vacuum technology.
Working knowledge of computer systems including software packages such as Microsoft Office 97 and Internet Explorer.
CAPABILITIES:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to wear a respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and continually wear eye protection.
