Senior Process Engineer

GroGlass SIA is a new advanced technology glass coating company located in the beautiful city of Riga in Latvia. GroGlass is a well funded new venture focused on manufacturing vacuum-deposited thin film coatings on glass and plastic substrates. The company has designed and built one of the largest most advanced thin film coating facilities in the world. The initial product focus is on optical and TCO thin film coatings for use in architectural, automotive, solar and other commercial and industrial applications. The Company has a unique deposition process that enables the simultaneous coating of both surfaces of large sheets of glass or plastic with ultra durable high performance vacuum-deposited thin film coatings.

GroGlass has completed the start-up phase and is now recruiting an experienced Senior Process Engineer to provide hands-on control of all thin film manufacturing processes. This position requires highly motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills and a strong desire to achieve success in a challenging and rewarding work environment.

The key requirement for this position is prior work experience in the large area thin film glass coating industry.

The Senior Process Engineer will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the design and development of advanced multi-layer thin film coatings for large area applications. He/she will have a solid working knowledge of optical thin film design and process control of large area glass coaters.

Successful candidate for this position will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
