Basic Job Functions:

Optimize availability of  production units, confer with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistik, HSE and Procurement departments. Analyze, document and optimize the process sequences in cooperation with these departments.

 

Education/ Experience:     
      

•          Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or
•          Associates Degree and 3-5 years related work experience or
•         10+ Years as an Equipment Engineer with a high Tech Firm
   

  Qualifications:

•       Knowledge of  Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
•       Statistic methods (SPC)
•        Basic knowledge in and use of relational database systems
•        Very good knowledge of English
•        Strong analytical, communicative and organizational skills

 

Essential Functions & -Responsibilities:

 

• Arrange and implement PM-Planning
• Conduct hazards-and stress assessments regarding maintenance activities
• Prepare or provide documents for internal occupational and safety training of    maintenance staff
• Rework and distribute information on maintenance to all First Solar locations
• Continuously improve spare part availability
• Assist with Identifying and Implementing Tool Performance Enhancements.
• Develop and update maintenance specifications
• Provide training where applicable to the maintenance team
• Responsible to monitor long term down issues and assist or lead with resolutions
• Responsible to interface with ME group from sister fabs for BKM�s.
• Other duties as assigned
