Responsibilities:
1. Organize and perform testing and characterization of thin film PV devices including some or all of: current-voltage, resistivity/conductivity, quantum efficiency, Hall effect, carrier lifetime, spectroscopy, etc.
2. Devise and document standard testing procedures. Assist with data analysis and interpretation.
3. Design and build (or have built) specialized equipment and fixtures as needed.
4. Work with R&D teams to refine technology strategy and optimize PV device performance.
5. Train and manage technicians.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor\'s, Master\'s in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field with focus on optical and electronic testing, characterization, and analyses of optoelectronic devices.
2. Experience and demonstrated capability in PV device testing and characterization.
3. Strong theoretical and working knowledge of semiconductor & device physics, optical physics, and materials.
4. Familiarity with PV technologies, and preferably, thin film PV device design, operation, and fabrication.
5. Self motivated, results oriented team player
