Process Engineer
Applied Materials

Responsibilities:

• Developing and assuring of marketable technologies and product improvements in the Solar division
• Participation in strategic planning
• Reporting to the Director R & D Solar and case to case also to higher level (e.g. VP Solar)
• Setting up presentations, publications and patent applications, participation in conferences and workshops
• Doing risk assessments with respect to solar technologies
• Performing process start up for our equipment (inhouse as well as on customer sites) on time and in line with business and quality policies
• Implementation and compliance with quality management policies

Required Knowledge & Education:

• University degree in physics
• Experience with thin film technology
• Profound knowledge of AMAT - technologies
• IT knowledge: MS-Office, SAP
• Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
• Good team player
• Ability to work under time constraints
• Flexibility and sensitivity in dealing with external partners
• Experience in planning and executing of complex projects
• Willingness to frequent business travel
