Responsibilities

• Product roadmap development and execution
• Product life cycle management
• Develop and execute cost reduction plans
• Product configuration definition and standard model creation
• Product change management and control
• Set list pricing
• Gross margin tool creation
• Unreleased product approval and control
• Lead division product training (Business Management, Sales) -ordering, configuration, and roadmap
• Lab chamber and system configuration and ownership planning (quarterly)
• Support Business Management in new product penetration plan generation and execution
• Positioning of product in marketplace
• Creation of technical information and presentation network
• Lead division marketing communication effort
• Competitive Analysis: Focal point for development and dissemination to Division and Sales regarding competition, strategies and status

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Technical university degree in engineering or other technical discipline
• Several years experience in industry
• Experience in working for customer service
• Experience with technically complex systems and machines
• IT knowledge: MS-Office, SAP
• Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
• Good team player
• Ability to work under time constraints
• Flexibility and sensitivity in dealing with external partners
• Willingness to frequent business travel
