Key Account Technologist

Responsibilities

• Adapt product “Best Known Methods” to customer specific requirements
• Focus on Process robustness, reliability and manufacturability
• Support Sales and Business Management in account penetrations, evaluations and positioning activities
• New process development which does not require a change to basic hardware or technology
• Support bookings with technical presentations at direction of Business Management
• Communication and field implementation of technology/applications
• Routine Tier 3 start-up support effort
• Input of customer requirements into product roadmap
• Management of customer process demonstrations and application development
• Field process performance data reporting
• Account process problem resolution and performance improvement
• Support customer specific development programs
• Implementation and compliance with quality management policies 

Required Knowledge and Experience

• University degree in engineering or other technical discipline
• Several years experience in industry
• Experience in working within customer service
• Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
• Experience with technically complex systems and machines
• IT knowledge: MS-Office, SAP
• Good team player
• Ability to work under time constraints
• Flexibility and sensitivity in dealing with external partners
• Willingness to frequent business travel
