Responsibilities

• Performing process start up for our equipment (inhouse as well as on customer sites) on time and in line with business and quality policies
• On a case to case basis developing and assuring of marketable technologies and product improvements in the Solar Division in close cooperation with sales and product management.
• Collaboration in strategic planning
  Reporting to the manager R & D and case to case also to higher level (VP Solar…)
• Setting up presentations, publications, and patent applications; participation in conferences and workshops.
• Technical expertise support of sales and product management in negotiations and discussions with customers and suppliers
• Doing risk assessments with respect to solar technologies
• Implementation and compliance with quality management policies

Required Knowledge and Experience

• University degree in physics/ physics technology or similar (or adequate knowledge and experience)
• Experience with thin film technology, especially for our applications
• Good communication skills
• Very good English
• Flexibility and sensitivity in cooperation with internal and external partners, intercultural skills
• Basic knowledge of economical business requirements
• IT knowledge- MS-Office and preferably SAP
• Willingness for frequent business travel worldwide and to work under time constraints
