Required Knowledge & Experience:
Strong communication skills; Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and professional staff. - B.S. level degree, and 7+ years of experience in MIS positions of steadily increasing responsibility, or equivalent - including 4+ years project management/supervisory experience.
Job Specific Knowledge & Experience:
This position is in the Solar Business Group.
M.B.A. degree, and 8+ years of experience in positions of steadily increasing MIS responsibility, and 3 years of commercial programming experience, or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
Plans and supervises the work of MIS [programmers and systems analysts] staff. Schedules, monitors, and controls projects. Participates and guides others in developing and presenting system overview and overall design. Works to develop functional and technical solutions. Ensures these solutions are technically sound. Interfaces with users to define requirements, particularly at the upper management level. Coordinates user requirements across functional boundaries. Establishes and reviews priorities to support overall corporate objectives. Coordinates major system introductions, including user system sign off and transition to operation status.
