Regional Sales Manager

Position(s) Overview:
This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a global leader within the solar industry, selling their high quality solar modules. The ideal candidate should have a track record of selling to distributors, system integrators; EPC’s and project developers throughout UK, and should have an existing list of contacts and clients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sales of our product lines and growing company market share in the assigned region
  • Prospecting potential customers and follow up of sales leads
  • Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations as established by the company and set performance goals
  • Lead the negotiations of terms and conditions with distributors, EPCs and developers
  • Manage assigned accounts to maintain service level and generate new sales leads
  • Bring their own customer relations contacts to support the sales of our solar modules
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to support initiatives and lead development
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of sales planning process for reaching Quarterly and Annual Revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless customer experience for our customers
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotas and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Home office discipline with attending Europe offices as Director needs
Desired Skills & Experience
Core Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years solar sales experience with proven success , modules sales ideal
  • Ability to travel within assigned region with occasional national travel
  • Successful track record of selling to distributors, system integrator, EPCs and developers
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the solar industry in the UK
  • Proven ability and temperament to work on long term contracts
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization and work closely with Director level managers in a large international company
  • Must have a good educational background in either business or civil or mechanical or electrical engineering, and strong Solar systems knowledge
  • Fluent English

Preferred Requirements:

  • Local candidates within assign region preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree , MBA a plus

  • High level of customer orientation and empathy
