Responsibilities

The new team member will play a key role in managing parts of the technology development as well as contributing to the development of LineSolar’s technology, IP position and/or further substantiating the business case. Responsibilities include feasibility analysis of production technologies, production costs analysis, selecting development partners, writing grant proposals, extending IP portfolio, and managing development projects.

Profile

• Education: physics or other relevant applied scientific background
• Mid-career with at least 5 -10 years technical or scientific experience
• Experience within solar PV or semiconductor industry
• Having a relevant network within solar related companies and research institutes inside The Netherlands and within Europe
• Experience with drafting patents
• Ambitious, good communication skills, intelligent, can-do attitude, flexible

LineSolar is new high-tech company operating from The Netherlands and developing a very promising solar panel incorporating an innovative solar cell technology. The photovoltaic technology invented by LineSolar can reduce the production costs significantly so that solar electricity can be made cost competitive much sooner. The company started its activities beginning of 2010. Currently, the team of LineSolar is small and therefore we are quickly expanding our team.
