PV Marketing Engineer (Equipment Manufacturer, Hasselt, Belgium)

Excico is a company supplying manufacturing equipment to the semiconductor and photovoltaic industry. Supplier of Business to Business solutions for the IC’s manufacturers (Processors, Flash memories, Digital Imagers, Solar Cells,…), Excico enables processing of the next generation of microelectronic devices used in our computers, handsets and high efficiency solar cells.

The company owns an expertise in microelectronics manufacturing process and delivers advanced laser annealing equipments and solutions. It provides new process alternatives for the manufacturing of high efficiency solar cells.

To feed its growth in the PV market EXCICO is now looking for a PV Marketing Engineer. Within EXCICO Photovoltaic Business Unit based in Hasselt (Belgium), and reporting to the BU Manager, you will actively promote EXCICO offering for the PV market.

• Collect and analyze data about the PV market

• Follow-up competition and refine EXCICO benchmark for key PV applications

• Provide inputs to EXCICO product definition in PV

• Support pre-sales on priority prospects

• Participate in collaborative R&D programs, conferences and exhibitions 

• Fluent in English is a must. Dutch/Flemish, French/German is a plus

• Capability to understand and analyze PV industry technical and economical requirements

• Excellent communication skills in international and technical environments, ability to promote and develop customers relationships

Your experience and academic background:

• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in solar cell manufacturing or processing, preferably in the industry

• Solid academic background in Materials Science or Solar Cells or Semiconductor devices and/or related engineering fields (PhD welcome)

• Field experience in marketing
