GT Solar Incorporated is currently seeking a hands-on Sr. Process Engineer to work on Advanced Crystallization Technology projects. This person will utilize innovative concepts to improve processes and come up with upgrades of existing products and/or new products that can eventually be commercialized. The ideal candidate will also provide technical support and training to GT Solar’s internal and external customers. International travel will be required for this role, approximately 25%.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Work with existing products to understand the requirements of the industry and GT customers.
· Evaluate and improve process parameters to produce a better product.
· Optimize improvements working with internal team and customers.
· Test reproducibility of improvements and incorporate in upgrades to existing products.
· Ability to develop predictive physical models of the process.
· Assist in the creation and maintenance of complex documentation sets, involving highly technical material, for training purposes under limited supervision.
· Help to identify and implement standards and process improvements.
· Ability to structure work in the support of and coordination of multiple projects.
· Knowledge of all aspects of capital projects, project management and planning skills.

Requirements
· M.S. in Engineering (or allied disciplines) required, higher degree preferred. ChE, ME, Materials Science, Applied Physics
· SILICON CRYSTAL GROWTH EXPERIENCE IDEAL
· Experience in process design, process optimization and or production support.
· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong communication skills across multi-lingual lines.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
· Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
· Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in an engineering or development environment.
