Photovoltaic Project Engineer

 

Your responsibilities:

 

1. Electrical design of photovoltaic installations (AC and DC sides) and drafting of

physical/geographical plant layout.

2. Project Chronology Planning: defining work breakdown structures and critical paths.

3. Preparation of administrative documentation: zoning and construction permits,

interconnection documents, etc.

4. Supporting finance department in the preparation of technical and economic reviews for

investors.

5. Initial screening of due diligence process: assisting legal department in controlling of

project contract provisions.

6. Supervision of construction team and controlling of project costs, deadlines quality

standards.
 

Our expectations:

 

1. Four-year degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university with above

average finishing marks; advanced degree and/or coursework in civil or environmental

engineering an advantage.

2. Mastery of AutoCAD & 2007 MS Office Suite; familiarity with economic calculation

software an advantage.

3. 3-5 years experience in residential, commercial or utility PV project design and

engineering.

4. Working knowledge of current and emerging photovoltaic technologies.

5. Familiarity with US electrical standards and safety regulations (OSHA).

6. Native speaker of English, German proficiency an advantage.

7. Legal permission for employment within the United States and in possession of a valid

US driver’s license.
