Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sales of CertainTeed’s solar products by working closely with CertainTeed’s contractors, distributors, architects and end users to promote solar products
• Provide on-site support to CertainTeed customers (site analysis and installation questions on CertainTeed solar systems)
• Collaborate with sales personnel from other company business units to assist them in the selling of commercial and residential solar products
• Maintain required reports regarding pending and closed sales activities.
• Professionally interact with CertainTeed’s partners/suppliers.

Industry Knowledge and/or Experience Requirements

·          2-4 Years Solar industry sales experience

·          5 years of demonstrated success in outside sales 

·          A Bachelor degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year university or college preferred.

·          Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

·          Ability to act independently toward achieving sales goals and objectives. 

·          Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

·          Ability to grasp new concepts, technologies and products quickly and effectively.

·          Technical aptitude 

·          Ability to occasionally work on roofs and ladders, no fear of heights

·          Valid driver’s license required
