Director of Finance and Strategy

 

Client is a subsidiary of major photovoltaics company with broad skills across the photovoltaic PV power plant development value chain. They have built an internationally scalable project development platform which includes engineering, legal and project finance capability.

Focusing on solar PV power plants in EMEA with focus in Italy, France, Israel, Spain, the United Kingdom and Greece, they use a community-based development model to ensure that its plants are adapted to local community needs.

The role is based in London but covers all of the client’s operations, including other companies which develop and operate solar PV plants owned by the Group or which provide services to those operations.

Reports to the CEO.

·  Working with the Group Project Finance function to support the financing of projects in EMEA.

·  Manage all the budgeting, forecasting, planning and reporting of the business unit’s activities.

·  Management expenditure during the construction of projects and afterwards.

·  Financial planning and analysis, including all monthly, quarterly annual operating and capital budgets.

·  Long range and strategic planning.

·  Executive reporting preparation and maintenance (monthly/quarterly).

·  Lead relationships with financial institutions, particularly in relation to support of project financing.

·  Monthly update of financial dashboards.

·  Working closely with the CEO in developing strategy for EMEA.

Applicants should have an MBA and bring extensive finance experience, five of the min management positions working internationally.

Preferred background would be Energy, Construction, Minerals, Real Estate.
